Barb Popp, Occupational therapist specialising in hand therapy. I provide therapy for all conditions relating to the hand, wrist and elbow. Whether they are from injury-traumatic, accumulative or following surgery. These conditions may include arthritis, fractures, joint dislocations, tendon and nerve repairs, sporting injuries, burns, overuse injuries including tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve injuries and chronic pain.
Treatment techniques are to manage wounds, swelling and scar tissue. It includes splinting, exercise, stretching and strengthening programs. These are developed for home programs which are monitored and upgraded regularly to help each patient regain flexibility, strength and movement to provide assistance with your return to work, sport, or daily activities.

No referral is necessary however I do like to liaise with the surgeons or doctors involved in your care.
WorkCover & Health Insurance
I work with WorkCover and other insurance agencies to provide services. Appointment fees are claimable through your health fund.
Therapy is always aimed to educate the client to enable their return to their role in work or daily living and provide them with the tools to perform their rehabilitation independently.
